For a little Christmas fun we decided to do a "Spinmazing Race" this year. We divided everyone into teams of two and they were given a series of clues. These clues lead them to various places around Cedar Falls and some required them to perform a task. Enjoy!   

As a follow up to a previous post on our Toy Shop Challenge we are posting some of the results we had.  We were able to get over 380 toys with the help of everyone at Spinutech and the surrounding business community.  Last year we delivered 88, so this is a huge increase and we simply couldn't have done it without the help of others.  Click here or on the picture to see more photos of the tree, gifts and the delivery. Interesting facts: We collected over 20 Barbies Over 30 board games were donated This year more than 3000 kids in the Cedar Valley are in need of gifts through this program We were able to serve about 130 kids this year (each kid is given 3 gifts)

Continuing our partnership with Beam/Elelctrolux, we recently launched Beam Canada's site. The site is modeled after the design we did for the Beam.com site.  The new site is multi-lingual and all updates are done through our content management system, Spinternet.

Beam has a very strong presence in Canada.  Central Vacuums are much more common to have in homes in Canada.  The updated site will help keep Beam as a market leader in Canada.

Lincoln Savings Bank is located throughout Eastern Iowa and has over ten locations.  LSB had many goals they wished to accomplish with the redesign of their site and Spinutech was challenged with the task.  The new design is search engine friendly and and communicates to the various audiences LSB serves in a much better fashion.

The site was also built in a way that will allow for LSB staff to make updates internally in a very fast manner.  This is a great improvement over their last site and will allow them to be very flexible with what they wish to accomplish in the future with their site.

Heritage Church is located in the Quad Cities and has a growing congregation. With this growth, the need for a site that reflected their growing needs became very important. The new site features our custom content management system, Spinternet, and utilzes many of the various features from Spinternet. The site has calendars, articles, a media center for video and audio, online givng and a full blown store.

Heritage Church is very excited about their new site. This new tool will help them further their gowth plans and also communicate with existing members in a much better fashion.

Last year, we realized that the need for new, unwrapped toys for low income kids of the Cedar Valley was much greater than any of us imagined. Spinutech employees collected 83 presents last year- but after delivering the toys to the Salvation Army last December and seeing the incredible need, we decided to issue a challenge to our clients and friends for Christmas 2008. We've had a great response so far and there is still a little time left.Low income families with children are able to pick out at least two presents for each child during the toy distribution at the Salvation Army. The Salvation Army was able to serve 2300 children in 2007, but they estimate the need will increase by 10% in 2008.  We are hoping to help them achieve their goal through our efforts.  If you would like to drop a toy off we would greatly appreciate it.
